Privacy Policy

This policy explains how TCC Associates (“we”, “us”), operator of TCC Academy, handles data in our self-hosted social-publishing application.
1. Who we are
TCC Associates operates a private, self-hosted instance of the open-source Postiz scheduler to publish TCC Academy’s own content to our own social accounts. The application is used only by our internal operators and is not offered as a service to the public.
2. Data we access
When we connect a social account (for example, TikTok) via the platform’s official OAuth flow, we receive an access token and the account’s basic profile information — such as the account ID, username, avatar, and aggregate statistics like follower count. We access this solely to identify the connected account and to publish the content we schedule.
3. How we use it
We use this data only to authenticate to the platform’s API and publish videos and images we create, at the privacy level we select, and to confirm that publishing succeeded. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond publishing our own content to our own accounts.
4. Storage and security
Tokens and content are stored on our own self-hosted infrastructure with restricted access. We do not sell or share this data with third parties, and we do not process the data of any third-party end users.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain access tokens only while an account remains connected. Disconnecting the account in the application, or revoking access in your platform settings, removes our access; stored tokens for that account are then deleted. Published content is governed by the destination platform’s own policies.
6. Third-party platforms
Content published through the application is subject to the receiving platform’s terms and privacy policy (for example, TikTok).
